Lamayuru Monastery – A Wonderful
Attraction to Visit on Ladakh Trips in India
Often known as the Yuru Gompa,
the Lamayuru Monastery is one of the most important attractions and Buddhist
monasteries to see on Ladakh organized excursions in India .
Set in Kargil district in Western Ladakh in the Indian province
of Jammu Kashmir ,
Lamayuru Gompa is one of the earliest and biggest monasteries in Ladakh with

The Lamayuru Gompa consisted

Besides monastery, Lamayuru is

Trek, Alchi to Lamayuru Trek, Padum to Lamayuru Trek, etc. Close by Alchi
Monastery and Wanla Monastery are also preferred among tourists. Undeniably,
Lamayuru is a must see attraction of Ladakh journeys in India .
